These 2 PS Fluted Side Bar Lounge Observations were delivered to New Haven in mid '49 for use on the "Merchants Limited."   Both cars received diaphragms on the round end in '52, and were then used mid-train.  They went on to Penn Central and later were sold or scrapped.  These were unusual looking observations and at this time, there is no core kit that would make an exact model.  They are being offered for more experienced kit builders or modellers that want a "close" representation.
