These 4 ACF Smooth Side Lunch Counter Diners were delivered Union Pacific in mid '55  and saw service on most of the Chicago-West Coast Streamliners, but were originally assigned to the City of St. Louis on the Denver-Los Angeles run.  They were numbered 4000 to 4003.  Two of the cars went to Amtrak, one to Alaska RR, and one was retained by UP.
