These two Diner Counter Lounge cars, #4200 and #4201,  were rebuilt by Illinois Central at their Burnside Shops from heavyweight cars for use on the "City of New Orleans." They were in addition to the 36 seat diners, and had 10 counter seats, 8 table seats and 22 lounge seats. The only obvious difference between the rebuild and new cars was the fact that they rode on 6 wheel trucks.
