These 2 Burnside Shops Rebuilds were put into service in '47 by Illinois Central for use on the "City of New Orleans."  In addition to the 36 seat diners, each consist of the train had one of these 10 seat Lunch Counter - 22 seat Lounges with 8 booth seats.  They were #4200 "Canal Street" and #4201 "DeSoto."  Like most of the other Burnside cars, they retained their 6 wheel trucks.  These cars had an 80'6" coupled length, so the core kit (available separately) will have to be shortened.
