These 28 PS Smooth Side 48 Seat Coaches were delivered to Union Pacific in mid '37 for use on "The Challenger."  When delivered, they were painted coach green and black with dulux gold lettering and the train logo in red.  They were eventually repainted into standard UP paint.  They were numbered 5300 to 5327.  All were retired and sold or dismantled by '68.
