These 2 PS Fluted Side Diner Lounge Observations were delivered to Southern Pacific in mid '37 for use on the "Sunbeam."  One of these cars was eventually rebuilt into the first homemade Dome Lounge.  These cars were about 77' long, so the core kit/base model will have to be shortened (not included in the kit).
