These 3 PS Smooth Side Business cars were delivered to Northern Pacific in April, '55 for use by the top executives of the railroad. They wore NP's passenger paint scheme and were named "Clark Fork River," "Yakima River," and "Yellowstone River." After the merger, they were painted in Burlington Northern's green and white scheme, and now wear stainless steel fluting for the BNSF (the window arrangement was changed when the fluting was added...see the BNSF page).
