Frisco took delivery of one and Katy took delivery of five of these 64 seat divided coaches in 1955 for the third consist of the "Texas Special." All of the Katy cars were sold to Northern Pacific in 1965 and Amtrak in 1971. The Frisco car was sold to Great Northern in 1966 and became Burlington Northern property in 1970.
