These 9 Budd Fluted Side Kitchen Lounges were delivered to New York Central in mid '47 for use in the "New England States," "Southwestern Limited," and "Ohio State Limited."  This car provided a waiting area for dining car patrons and housed the kitchens for the full dining cars.  Most of these cars were scrapped in the mid '60s.
