These 6 Budd Slab Side Kitchen/Dormitory cars were delivered to Pennsylvania in July '49 for use in general service.  These cars housed the kitchen for the full length diner with which it was paired (see #966-024).  It included bunks, a shower, and lockers for 18 crew members.  Disposition of these cars wasn't mentioned in the "Passenger Car Library.
