These 6 Budd Fluted Side Dormitory/Lounge Cars were delivered to Santa Fe in late '37 for use on "The Chief." They were named and numbered:  1371, Nambe; 1372, Picuris; 1373, Tesque; 1374, Santa Clara; 1375, Moencopi; and 1376, Zuni.  Picuris went to Amtrak and is now on display in Collierville, TN.  3 others were sold to private individuals.  1374 and 1376 were wrecked in the '60s. Note: These cars had a 79' 10" coupled length and the sides are prototypical length, which requires shortening whatever core/base you use.
